Safe from a sudden downpour, we forge ahead, awaiting our lifeline- in this instance, our lifeline takes the form of a freight elevator that will pull us up from the depths of the Hudson Yards underground, back to the safety (read: crutch) that is cellular service and Wi-Fi access. Feeling anxious and trapped underground with no service isn’t foreign territory when you’re a native New Yorker who has experienced decades of unique city traumas. The survivalist in me searched for the nearest exit. The Capricorn in me took a deep breath, hummed some Jungle, and marveled at the colors of the flowers. Alas, we made it above ground and the flowers reached their destination safely. All of this is to say, sometimes I get sketched out in loading docks, but those effing Dahlias always get me through it. 🌸🙇🏻♀️

Our Limited Edition Mother’s Day Sadie collection is back. My grandmother's name was Mercedes, my mother's name is Sarita, Sarah for short. I recently learned that Sadie is the nickname for Sarah. It is also phonetically a part of my grandmother's name, Mercedes. What better name to give our Mother's Day collection than one which represents the two most important women in my life?

Yep, didn’t think I’d ever be saying this on our 5th Birthday (wait, five years? Holy smokes!) but, we are opening up our first shop at Nordstrom’s Flagship in NYC.
